1.Who we are

Dream Home Security LLC (“Dream Home Security,” “we,” “us”) is a Florida limited liability company. We provide consultation, sales, professional installation, service and support for home security systems, cameras and smart-home devices, and professionally monitored systems.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us, ask about our services or become a customer, you may give us your name, phone number, email address and service address, details about your home and your security system, and the content of your communications with us.

Our website request form

If you send a request through the form on this website, we collect what you enter: your first and last name, mobile phone number, ZIP code and, if you choose to give them, your email address, what you need help with and your message. We also record whether you checked each text message box.

When you submit the form, we also record your IP address, your browser and device type (user agent), the page you sent it from and the page that referred you to it, any campaign tags in the page address, the date and time, and the exact consent wording shown to you, so that we have a record of what you agreed to.

Customer account and service information

If you become a customer, we also keep information needed to provide your service, such as:

• your agreement details and the equipment installed at your home;
• your service history;
• the emergency contacts and call list you give us;
• alarm-event data we receive from the monitoring provider; and
• billing information. Card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor.

Call and message records

We keep records of calls and text messages with us. Calls with Dream Home Security may be recorded or monitored for quality, training and record-keeping. When we record a call, we tell you at the start of the call, and by staying on the line you consent to the recording. Florida law requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded.

Our website

This website does not set cookies itself and does not use advertising pixels. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and operations.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to this website. It does not use cookies or local storage, and Cloudflare says it does not use your IP address to fingerprint you or track you across websites. For each page view it records the page viewed, the referring site, your browser, operating system and device type, your approximate country, and how long the page took to load.

Our request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam and automated submissions. On pages that show the form, Turnstile runs a check in your browser that processes your IP address, browser details and similar signals to tell people apart from automated programs. It loads only on pages with the form.

3.How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your questions and requests;
• schedule consultations, installations and service visits;
• install, service and support your system;
• provide monitoring through our monitoring partner;
• bill for our services;
• send service and account notices;
• comply with the law and our legal obligations; and
• protect against fraud and misuse.

We send marketing messages only with your consent where the law requires it, and you can opt out at any time.

4.Text messages and calls

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we send appointment, service and account notifications. We send marketing text messages only if you separately agree to receive them. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase.

You can opt in by checking a box on the request form on our website, or by telling us directly. Marketing consent given on our website form covers text messages only.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.

A reply of STOP, or a similar word such as QUIT, END, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE, stops all text messages from us. We honor opt-out requests promptly. You can also opt out by emailing admin@dreamhomesecurity.com.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators.

Service providers that deliver calls and messages for us, such as our telephone and messaging providers, are not third parties for this purpose. They handle this information only to provide their services to us and may not use it for their own marketing.

5.How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

• Service providers acting for us, such as our website host, our website analytics service (Cloudflare Web Analytics), our spam protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile), our email and email delivery providers, our database provider, our customer relationship management (CRM) and customer operations software, our calling and messaging platforms, our payment processor, the alarm monitoring central station and the equipment and app platform needed to provide monitored service, our installation and service personnel, and our professional advisers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Emergency responders, when an alarm or the call list you gave us requires it.
• Legal requirements, when we believe in good faith that the law, a court order or legal process requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our company or others.
• Business transfers, if our business or its assets are sold, merged or transferred, in which case the information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

The categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties other than the service providers that deliver our calls and messages.

We do not sell your personal information.

6.How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, contract and record-keeping requirements. For customers, that generally means for the life of your agreement plus a reasonable period after it ends.

We keep records of consent to text messages, including the wording you agreed to, for at least five years after we last rely on that consent. We keep other information from website requests for as long as we need it to respond to you and for the purposes above.

7.How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Florida law, section 501.171, Florida Statutes.

8.Your choices

• Access, correction and deletion. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@dreamhomesecurity.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information when the law or your agreement requires us to.
• Marketing. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by following the instructions in the message or by emailing us.
• Text messages. Reply STOP to any text message from us to stop all text messages from us.

9.Children's privacy

This website and our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
